Effective date: September 16, 2026
App: Periodix (package com.waleed.periodix)
Developer: Waleed

1. Overview

Periodix is an educational Android app for exploring the periodic table, element details, isotopes, and interactive atom models. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Periodix does not require an account, does not include ads or analytics SDKs, and is designed to work offline.

2. Information we collect

Periodix does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or photos.

The app may store the following data only on your device:

This information stays local unless you yourself share content using another app you select.

3. How information is used

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

4. Internet access and third parties

Periodix does not require internet permission for its core features and does not send your preferences or usage data to our servers.

If you use Android’s share feature, the destination app (and that app’s privacy policy) governs any content you choose to share.

Android system backup (if enabled on your device) may include app preferences according to your device settings and Google / manufacturer backup policies.

5. Children’s privacy

Periodix is a general educational tool suitable for students and learners. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not collect personal data online, it is appropriate for use in learning environments without account registration.

6. Data retention and deletion

Preferences remain on your device until you clear the app’s storage, uninstall the app, or reset the app data in Android settings. Uninstalling Periodix removes locally stored preferences associated with the app.

7. Permissions

Periodix is designed to run without sensitive runtime permissions such as camera, microphone, contacts, or location. If future versions request additional permissions, this policy will be updated to explain why.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of Periodix after an update means you accept the revised policy.
